Overview
Network Engineer - Financial Services We're working with one of the Europe's leading wealth managers and private banking firms who're looking to hire a Network Engineer in their growing London office. They're going through a huge period of growth and investment in IT infrastructure and are looking for a technical, proactive and passionate engineer to grow their network team. You'll be key in designing and building out the (new, greenfield) low latency, high frequency environment, working on a huge range of upgrade and improvement programmes and complex technical support day to day - a very varied challenge You'll get the chance to work on a wide variety of engineering projects, including network automation and introducing Cloud and Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) across the company too. - Excellent experience in the engineering and support of (Cisco) network solutions - Good understanding of routing and switching, firewalls, connectivity and load balancing - An understanding of network security and firewalls etc - Good knowledge of technologies such as Cisco, Checkpoint, Arista, HP etc - Experience working in complex, enterprise environments would be perfect This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89928700
