Neighbourhood Officer Job Role - Huntington - immediate start Your new company You will be working for an organisation who are committed to creating successful places and enabling people to reach their potential. The company are a social housing organisation who makes a long-term commitment to its communities and works to provide what they need to thrive, through school, shops, leisure facilities or specialist support services. The organisation are currently looking at an immediate start date with a short term temporary contract until April 30th. Your new role As a neighbourhood officer you main purpose is to contribute to the achievement of Business and Corporate Plan objectives through assisting the Head of Neighbourhood Services in delivering a high quality and responsive customer focused service. You will be implementing and enforcing the groups policies and processes for the estate management services. You will be liaising with neighbourhood wardens in carrying our regular inspections of properties. You will be providing support and encouragement to vulnerable people within the properties - all of this plus much more. This role is a 37 hour a week full time position. Normal 9-5 business hours apply to this role with a 4:30 Friday finish. What you'll need to succeed In order for you to be considered for this role you must have exceptional customer service skills. You must be able to deal with a fast paced environment whilst maintaining customer relationships and rapport. You will be dealing with very vulnerable people so you must be empathetic as well as adaptable. This role will come with some challenges so you must be able to think on your feet and be resilient. You must have good IT skills as well as an ability to deal assertively with customers. Key skills in this role are - IT Skills, Adaptability, Commercial awareness, communication, customer focus, leadership, integrity, organisation and teamwork.
