Overview
Chlorination Engineer required for work at various sites around the UK.This role will involve some staying away at various locations in the United KingdomThe Job Key Responsibilities: • Install Test, chlorinate and commission water infrastructure as instructed working to standards and codes of practice, ensuring that all work is undertaken to a high standard of safety and technical quality by following all appropriate generic and specific method statements, work procedures and safety instructions • Have a full and comprehensive understanding of, chlorinating and sampling procedures • Have experience of type 2 digital pressure testing • Accept delivery of plant and materials and check fitness for purpose prior to use • Ensure vehicles, plant and equipment remain clean, in good condition, and report any defects to the Project Manager • Identify at an early stage all contract variations and report to the Project Manager and work in accordance with the company Variation and Deviations Procedure • Complete site-specific risk assessments daily and ensure maintenance of a safe working environment • Attend "toolbox talks" and other training courses as required • Record accurately details of work undertaken • Submit relevant work details for recording in the required timescale • Collect and deliver water samples to approved locations within the relevant timescalesActivities: • Manual Handling • Operating Pressure testing equipment • Operating chlorination/de-chlorination equipment • Working on development sites • Identify and understand utility plans • Input pressure test data and analyse results using approved software Minimum qualifications/Experience: • Water Network Safety Passport • Water Hygiene • Experience of Water Mains Testing, Chlorinating and Sampling & pressure testing • Full valid driving licenceThis role is a fully employed position with Holiday entitlement, pension provision etcPlease get in touch with Gavin to hear more about this opportunity - 02920 007073 Skills Required • Water Network Safety Passport • Water Hygiene • Experience of Water Mains Testing, Chlorinating and Sampling & pressure testing • Full valid driving licence Qualifications Required EUSR Chlorination This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89892128
