Overview

A specialist independent school for girls with emotional difficulties, attachment difficulties and those presenting with risk-taking behaviours in Redhill is seeking a Humanities Teacher to join their team on a long term basis. My client is looking to arrange interviews ASAP. However, the candidate will need to do a trial day before being asked to an interview. This position is a long term role that could go permanent. The school is easily accessible by public transport and has parking spaces that are available to all staff. The humanities teacher role will include: Preparing and delivering lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students Using a range of different learning resources and equipment Teacher who can work with SEN students, mainly SEMH Managing pupil behaviour in the classroom and on school premises Communicating with parents and carers over pupils' progress The successful candidate must have: Qualified Teacher Status / QTLS Eligible to work in the UK Positive and energetic manner Enthusiastic about working with children Full understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks Do you know other great teachers or support staff?
