Overview

An overseas bank wish to credit analyst for financial institutions, this is a great opportunity for someone seeking career development and growth in the credit/RM space. The role duties include: Maintain and develop a portfolio of clients made up of international banks as part of the financial institutions department. Initiating credit proposals or structuring credit products. Identify business opportunities within the portfolio through dealing with clients, product partner collaboration, proactive research and analysis of financial and other information. Identify lending opportunities within the portfolio based on client needs and banks credit appetite. Negotiating terms. Preparation of credit proposals and presenting them to credit committees. To assist in collecting information for new clients in the KYC/KYB stage. To monitor the credit portfolio on a continuing basis for changes in credit quality due to counterparty specific and general market related issues; recommending suitable actions. To assist with the review and development of credit risk related policies and procedures. Candidate specification: Minimum 2-3 years working experience in credit analysis with focus on financial institutions. Experience in banking or corporate banking environment. Good practical knowledge of global market and transactional banking products. Demonstrate an ability to build client relationships at all levels.
