INSPIRATION FOR AN EXTRAORDINARY WORLD JOB DETAILS Job Title: Intercompany: Financial Analyst Salary: Competitive Location: Warwick/ London Opening Date:19 December 2019 Closing Date: 20 January 2020 JOB DESCRIPTION Kantar’s global finance organisation uses both third party and in-house applications to consolidate intercompany invoice payments and enhance the intercompany experience across the group. Reporting into the Global Data Governance Manager, and working closely with the global finance applications team, the Financial Analyst will be primarily focussed on providing day-to-day support to a 200 global user community. Ensuring user compliance is key to success in this position. Clear communication, coaching and ongoing follow-up with users are a fundamental part of the role. The intercompany applications provide services to most of the Kantar group businesses. Part of the initial responsibilities of the role will be to continue the deployment of these applications to entities not currently using them. A third party SAAS application is currently being reviewed as a replacement for two existing applications; this role will assist in the assessment and testing of the SAAS application. Beyond this, it is expected that the successful candidate will engage with the user-base and treasury staff to identify and shape future enhancement needs, work with the development team to deliver, and then rollout to all users, globally. You will… • Provide first-line intercompany reporting and settlement user support • Introduce measures to ensure the data correctly reflects all open transactional data • Introduce reporting on intercompany transaction volumes and pursue remedial action where appropriate • Ensure organizational changes are maintained and updated within the database. • Continue the deployment of intercompany applications across Kantar • Assist with the implementation and launch of a cloud-based SAAS solution • Rollout future enhancements and new features • Act as the escalation point for transaction disputes • Provide support to the Treasury function MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS • Knowledge of Kantar’s global finance systems (Maconomy, Cartesis, Netting) • An understanding of Kantar’s organization structure • Strong relationship-building skills • Keen eye for accuracy that builds trust in analysis being provided • A can-do attitude and be pro-active • Proven ability to deliver on promises and follows through on commitments even in challenging circumstances • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
