Financial Accountant (Emphasis on VAT & Corporate Tax) - Tech SME - CentralLondon 3 month Temp to Perm role. My Client, an exciting and rapidly growing IT firm are looking to add an energetic and experienced Financial Accountant to their team on a temp to permanent basis. This role will be focusing on VAT & Corporation Tax so strong previous experience in these areas is also a must. This is an immediate start so please do not apply if you are on a lengthy notice period. Financial Accountant Job Purpose: Preparation, examination and analysis of financial reports and records. You will absorb and take complete control of the VAT process of the company. Financial Accountant Job Duties: Multi- currency Balance Sheet reconciliations including investigation, balance substantiation and compliance with IFRS. Weekly cashflow forecast and actuals, for 40 multicurrency bank accounts, working with various Finance team members to ensure an accurate reflection of payments and receipts. Preparation of monthly workings for Sundry Debtors, Accrued Income and Advanced Receipts. Preparation of Financial Statements in line with FRS 102.(Previous experience is essentail) Preparation of VAT returns for the UK Group ensuring HMRC compliance and gradually taking over the VAT aspect of the finance team. Miscellaneous analysis when required. Financial Accountant Skills and Qualifications : ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified Knowledge/experience with Multicurrency entities. Strong Knowledge of FRS 102 Extensive experience with VAT and Corporation Tax. Hands on skills: must have prepared all finance functions not just oversee or analyse as this is very much a hands on role.
