Junior Accounts Payable Assistant opportunity for a well established retail business in Oxford City Centre Accounts Payable Assistant Oxford £17,000 Study Support Permanent, full-time Your new company A well-established business in Oxford city-centre, who have received global recognition for their specialist knowledge and customer service in the retail industry, are seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant. This is an entry-level role with training and study support provided. Your new role As the successful candidate you will be responsible for the maintenance of the purchase ledger accounts to a high standard, accurately inputting data onto the ledger accounts as well as ensuring the prompt recovery of all outstanding returns. You will review and resolve any credit rejects, as well as providing reports where necessary, preparing and generating payment routines and dealing with any supplier queries. What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role you will need a positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn. You will work to a high level of accuracy, with a keen eye for detail and a methodical approach to tasks. Experience is not necessary, but you must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills and feel confident in establishing and building strong relationships, both internally and externally.
