Credit Control and Accounts Receivable Finance Officer Permanent £30,000 - £32,500 Benefits, Croydon For a global education company, we're recruiting a Credit Control and Accounts Receivable Finance Officer on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Transactions Manager, the Credit Control and Accounts Receivable Finance Officer will deliver Credit Control and Accounts Receivable duties and support AP as necessary. This role will work closely with the UK and Ireland operation team and will need excellent stakeholder management skills and meet the core debt management targets as well as working on process improvement. Main Duties: Credit control duties from start-to-finish including achieving monthly cash collection targets Recording debtor communication on the debt collection software Liaise with debt collection agency to review payment plans; organise effective chasing cycle Reduce aged days by managing ledgers and maintain ledger allocations and reconciliations for UKI and Overseas Complete monthly customer statement runs for all products, capturing trends in the market dashboard and analysis of performance and variances Oversee the Accounts mailbox and maintenance of ledgers including posting of journals and performing reconciliations Bank and control accounts reconciliations including Sun Systems reconciliations Assist with Year-end activities Support with ad-hoc AP tasks as required. Person Specification: Extensive experience of Credit Control and Accounts Receivable Very strong communication skills and ability to work effectively to targets Advanced MS Excel skills and working knowledge of Sun Systems (ideally) Able to be based in Croydon but with occasional travel to London site.
