IT Support Manager Reading An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join a growing IT Infrastructure company based in Reading. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Support Engineer / Support Manager, with the responsibility of providing IT support internally for the company across 3 offices in the UK. Key Tasks: ·Acting as a ‘go to’ for any technical queries · Strong technical knowledge as you will be required to work on various projects ·The role will still entail a hands on approach and you will be still be able to solve technical queries and raised issues. Key skills required: An engineer who is keen to progress with additional responsibility Good knowledge of TCP/IP networking The ability to install and decommission a range of hardware Including servers and racks Great communication skills (in person and via telephone) with internal colleagues Personable, with the ability to build rapport with external clients and internal colleagues Maintaining and updating accurate documentation of administrative tasks Experience of some or all of the following; Microsoft Windows Server Azure Active Directory Firewalls Citrix XenServer/vSphere/Hyper-V/KVM Salary will depend on the successful candidate but in the region of £30,000 to £40,000.
