Overview
My client is a creative design agency looking for a Financial Accountant in their amazing offices in East London. The client have great brand presence and looking for an outgoing and confident individual. As a Financial Accountant you will be working closely with the Group Financial Controller. The main responsibilities of this role are to take ownership of the statutory accounts and corporate tax, intercompany transactions, group consolidations and be responsible for all internal controls. You will also be involved in month end close and variance analysis supporting the Group FC and CFO when needed. You will also act a senior member of staff within the team and have the potential to manage/oversee their work to make sure deadlines are being met. The ideal candidate will need to have a strong management accounts background ideally with a reporting focus. My client will look at ACA qualified from practice ideally with a creative client base and ACCA/CIMA with relevant technical skills. You will need to be able to work in a fast paced environment full of creatives and pick up tasks quickly. The client is looking for a candidate from creative agency and also being a part of a group structure, or worked in a smaller/complex orgnisations would be advantageous.
