Overview

Our client with offices based in Peterborough, is seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join them on a permanent basis owing to business growth. As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out planned servicing, maintenance and call outs for industrial heat exchanger units and ancillary equipment including burner systems within the food manufacturing industry. You will also provide full commissioning support for projects & installations. You will have the chance to work on small stand-alone projects and support the projects team on a variety of duties. To be considered for this position, you will have a minimum of 3 years relevant engineer experience in a mechanical / electrical / process engineering role ideally within the food processing industry. It is essential that you are aware of Industrial Gas Safety requirements, knowledge of industrial heating / burner & combustion equipment is also essential. You will also be Gas Safe Registered. This is a varied position that will require extensive UK and overseas travel to complete projects but this offers rewards with a good overtime rate that will pretty much double your salary potential owing to longer days and some weekend work to complete projects. Salary c£36,000 plus overtime OTE £65,000. Excellent benefits package including company car / van for both business and private use and the chance to join and growing and progressive company.
