Technical Manager
Overview
Reporting directly to the Technical Director, you will ensure the Technical team are fully resourced and well-directed, with clear guidelines to their individual job responsibilities and provide full support in achieving these. The Design and Technical teams are involved in all aspects of housing design and innovation, the team are also responsible for researching the best materials, at the best cost. You will be required to assess potential developments and production of detailed technical reports, including site visits with the appropriate member of management, ensure provision of drawings to site on a weekly basis and/or as appropriate. You will need to lead, motivate, communicate with, develop, appraise and performance manage staff to ensure the best performance is achieved.
