Overview
Financial planning & Analysis analyst needed for a leading beauty brand based within Central Lodnon. This FP&A role is exceptionally commercially focused covering all aspects of FP&A including quarterly reforecasts and budget setting, weekly performance analysis, ROI modelling, margin analysis, monthly board pack preparation and presentation to Senior Management. The role will require someone who is comfortable both with 'hands on’ excel work and the bigger strategic picture, being a self-starter but also working collaboratively with members of the Senior Management Team. Duties and Responsibilities: Supporting the financial planning and forecasting process at a global and regional level. Working with the regional Directors to build robust business plans for their markets through budget and monthly outturns. Lead role in forecasting the full P&L from consumer demand metrics, through to fulfillment, marketing spend and headcount. Creation of weekly and monthly reporting packs for each business unit including monthly trading analysis of regional P&L’s. Key financial modelling expert to deliver insight and ROI analysis to shape the business strategic decisions and investments, driving optimal decision making through extensive financial and quantitative analysis. Business Partner to the Commercial Director to help the business understand the margin impact of brand contributions and promotions on sales profitability. Provide robust and detailed interpretation of financial analysis to enable the business to take timely action / decisions and achieve targets. Identify actions to drive opportunities and mitigate risks. Analyse current and past trends in key performance indicators including all areas of revenue, cost of sales and operating expenditure. Support the Finance Team with month end outturn projections and cash flow modelling. Compile Board meeting materials and presentation of results / forecasts. Skills / Qualifications: ACA / ACCA / CIMA Qualified. At least three years’ experience in a FP&A role, ideally within an ecommerce business, having worked closely with an array of marketing and senior-level stakeholders. Excellent ability to proactively conduct analysis, from an array of platforms, and generate insights that the business can interpret. High degree of financial modelling, planning and forecasting experience. Ability to prioritise and manage own workloads, be flexible in your working style and enjoy working to tight deadlines.
