Senior QS - Design & Build- Main Contracting Your new company Hays have partnered with a very reputable and well-known Main Contractor based in Oxfordshire. Currently working on a number of Design & Build projects that span across Education, Leisure, Hospitality, Industrial and Residential. This firm are a Regional Main Contractor with offices across the South of England, they are well known within the industry and are a very sought-after company. The organisation pride themselves in High Quality work and repeat business with an excellent client portfolio. Your new role As the Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be working as the Commercial Lead on a flagship Design & Build project in Oxford, running the project commercially from start to finish. You will be working directly with the Managing QS and Commercial team to deliver their top project for 2020. You will also be working on further JCT, Design & Build projects across the region. As a senior member of the team you will be expected to mentor Assistant and Trainee QS' and be involved in two stage procurement routes. This role is a key vacancy for the department and you will be able to make your mark on the organisation. The team are very approachable, social and have a great dynamic. What you'll need to succeed You will need to have experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor working on JCT projects, Design and Build and working for Tier 1 or Regional Main Contractors. Tier 1 Main Contractor experience is desired. However, they will consider experience working for a Tier 2 or Regional contractor but you must have experience with Design and Build projects. This isn't a position for an intermediate to move up to Senior, you will have to have had experience as a Senior QS with demonstrable experience of being Commercial Lead on projects up to and in excess of £20m What you'll get in return You will be remunerated with a competitive salary, car allowance, excellent benefits package and a chance to make your mark with a prestigious organisation and a great future career.
