Leading M&E Contractor seek Pre Construction Manager to join their busy team. Great role for experienced PM Your new company Our client are a leading MEP contractor who have a broad market presence across most of the main market sectors in Scotland. Our client are well known for delivering high profile M&E solutions to their client base and with a full design and build capability in-house are primed to continue their growth in the Scottish market, One of their more established teams which focus on a core group of important clients is seeking an experienced MEP professional to join their team as a pre -construction manager. Your new role As Pre- Construction manager you will play a pivotal role in getting a range of projects set up correctly before they hit the operational team for delivery. You will be responsible for coordinating between the design , surveying and operational functions ensuring buildable plans and methodologies are produced in advance of the project starting. Of course you will also be regularly in touch with the clients PMs ensuring a target budget is achieved and signed off in advance of project commencement. As pre-construction manager you influence , cajole and nudge the relevant project stakeholders but external and internal to achieve key preconstruction deadlines and produce a buildable package for the operations team to action. What you'll need to succeed Our key are willing to see people from a range of backgrounds but key criteria will be to be from a MEP background who has extensive experience of working within a demanding contracting environment. Our client open to either an electrical or mechanical background. Perhaps you have worked your way up from the tools to a project management position currently but are now seeking to deploy your experience in a different way. The projects you will be working on in this position are within existing buildings so experience of working within refurbishments would be highly advantageous. Experience of working within a frameworks environment would also be useful.
