Overview
Are you an ACA qualified accountant with 1-4 years PQE who is looking for a move into an exciting and high growth organisation? Are you an ambitious individual who wants to progress up to FD level in a professional services firm with the support of an experienced CFO? My client is a high growth consultancy based in Central London who has 10 global offices across the UK, US, EU, and Canada. This is a highly exciting newly created opportunity for someone to join their finance function reporting in directly to the CFO. About the role: preparing the Group and entity financial statements Managing the annual UK and French audit process Working alongside local accountants within European offices to ensure statutory compliance Assisting with the month-end close including P&L and transfer pricing, balance sheet reviews, and fixed asset reconciliations Reviewing and approving weekly supplier and expense payment runs Overseeing the UK and European payrolls and reconciliations Treasury management including cash flow management, forecasting, and hedging Developing and managing financial controls, policies, and processes Assisting as required with any improvements to internal accounting or operational systems Working closely with the international tax manager on employee mobility issues Assisting with the London office operations (leases, capex, budgets) Supervising and training assistant accountant Adhoc projects, reporting, and analysis About the individual: Strong technical ability with sound knowledge of IFRS Organised individual who is proactive with excellent attention to detail and accuracy Possessing brilliant verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office A proactive candidate who is a resourceful self-starter who takes initiative Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and work successfully both independently and in a team Qualified finance professional (ACA or equivalent, 1-4 years PQE) Sound knowledge of Microsoft D365 Finance or similar accounting software systems preferable Previous exposure to a professional services environment a plus Ideally experienced within an international group with foreign currency exposure If this opportunity sounds of interest to you please apply.
