Recruitment Hunters are recruiting for an experienced Financed Manager who has previously worked within the creative industry or the education sector. This role will be working for an exception International School based in Central London. Job summary for Finance Manager The purpose of the job is to manage all the finance activities related to the Company, that from managing the daily accounting process to the management of the company statutory financial reporting and budget/forecasting activities In this role the Finance Manager will be supported by the Local accounting team. The position will support the School Director and the Group Head of Controllership in all financial reporting activities and in the month/year closing process. This role will have one direct report. Main Responsibilities: - Finance Manager Key purpose of the role To manage independently the Company's accounts and coordinate the accounting team To support the School Director in cost control and business objectives To deliver monthly forecasts and cash forecast To be independent and to manage yearly audit reviews To prepare yearly budget To prepare the statutory financial statements of the companies (operating and holdings) under UK GAAP To prepare of the monthly and yearly reporting package under IFRS To analyse discrepancies between monthly figures, accounting evidences, and expectations To prepare bank reconciliations To coordinate team with tax consult in the compliance with tax requirements (Income Tax, VAT and Withholding) To make monthly analysis and management of capex budget and capex forecast To keep relationship with banks To maximize cash availability to finance intercompany projects To manage companies bookkeeping To support the School in the quality assurance requirements Experience Required:- Finance Manager Education & skills Bachelors Degree in accounting or finance required, CPA or MBA a plus (MUST) CIMA or ACCA Qualified - Ideally 2/3 years PQE (MUST) Minimum 3/5 years of progressive financial experience, preferably in a for-profit company Accounting expertise Analytical skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and customer service skills School experience, including Financial Aid process, preferred but not required (Desirable) Computer skills, particularly proficiency in Excel Nice to have knowledge of SAP Accounting Tools (Desirable) This is full time Finance Manager role, the role will be paying £42,500 - £50,000 DOE - Excellent benefits including flexible working, £1,200 a year Lunch benefit, Annual Pay Reviews, Etc.
