Overview
Research Technician An exciting opportunity has arisen for an In Vivo Research Technician to join a growing research organisation on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in research programs and ensuring that the laboratory is stocked and ready for daily use. The position will also include working with rodent models in a hands on and varied laboratory role. The company Our client is at the forefront of their industry and offers an excellent environment in which to develop. There is also a very competitive remuneration package on offer. Experience/ Qualifications -BSc/ Msc minimum in a relevant subject area (neuroscience, biology etc.) -Minimum 6 months’ work experience in a laboratory -Previous work experience with mouse handling is essential -Experience with cognitive and behavioural assessments would be advantageous but not essential -Ability to analyse and interpret sets of data -Good communication skills and ability to present own ideas Keywords In vivo, laboratory, experimental design, murine, rat, rodent, animal technician, psychology, neuropsychology, cognitive, laboratory, R and D, research.
