Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen within a global business listed on the Stock Exchange, for a Finance Assistant, paying up to £25,000. There will also be potential to provide study support after probation. Responsibilities overview: Assisting the UK and Europe Finance team to ensure delivery of accurate and timely accounts and best finance service to the wider business. Complete daily bank reconciliations for all entities managed by the UK & Europe team. Ensure sales invoices are raised promptly and partial invoicing is completed on time in line with invoicing schedules. Post invoice recharges to other hubs each month in line with the month-end timetable. Raise all inter-company sales orders in the correct month ensuring accuracy. Manage petty cash and liaise with the Qualitative team for focus group incentives. Provide cover for the accounts payable and credit control functions if required. Actively suggest areas for improvement or automation to help drive efficiency within the team. Requirements: A stable career to date Ideally degree educated, however, school leavers will also be considered A minimum of one year's experience within an accounting function Desire to complete a recognised accounting qualification In addition to the above, I am also working on an Accounts Payable role paying between £25,000 - £28,000.
