Overview
Our client are extremely well-known and within the Sports industry, overseeing and developing athletes from all levels. They are looking to hire a Financial Accountant into their finance team, based in North West London. The role will sit in the controllership side of finance and will provide effective financial management and control of the company’s subsidiaries. Responsibilities: Financial management and control. Balance Sheet Reconciliation. Preparation of year-end statutory accounts. Liaise with external auditors and ensure deadlines are met. Overseeing and working on tax related matters, including preparation of VAT returns. Working closely with senior members to the team and separate functions. Candidate profile: Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA). Able to get into the detail. Strong experience with balance sheet reconciliations. Advanced knowledge of financial controls and procedures. Advanced Excel skills and ability to extract data.
