Overview
We are working with one of the largest global real estate owner, operator and investor as they search for a Financial Accountant to join their London team This is an exciting technical opportunity to become a key member of an incredible industry-leading company, while providing you the independence and responsibility to rapidly enhance your career The ideal candidate will have experience with real estate or construction clients. JD Overview Responsibility for the accounting and finance function of approximately 3 properties and related entities / holding companies Reporting for assigned entities - monthly closing of accounting books, forecasting, business planning, liquidity, statutory accounts and tax compliance e.g. VAT return preparation and submission, leasing stats and other supplementary stat reporting Provide financial analysis on a monthly basis (e.g. tracking against business plan) and manage the liquidity requirements of your properties Provide commercial finance support to the asset managers and manage their input to Finance Involvement in group reporting consolidation and management reporting with quarterly submissions Interaction with the offshore service providers where entities are outside of the UK Involvement in external reporting to joint venture partners Establish strong working relationships with the London based group team and other teams within the business including Asset Management and Developments, Tax, Treasury and Legal teams Manage and take full responsibility for the external audit process of your properties
