Overview
Synchro are currently working exclusively on site with a household brand in Cheltenham and recruiting on their behalf for an Agile Delivery Manager. The newly appointed Agile Delivery Manager will be fundamental to the success of the organisation serving the wider business and they are responsible for a number of delivery squads, monitoring and making sure everyone is delivering to the business roadmap and acting as an escalation point for any issues that may arise. The Agile Delivery Manager is integral to the operation of these newly formed software development squads and you will be responsible for planning, monitoring budgets and spend, reporting on progress as well as being involved in implementing and following through the new ways of working my client are moving to. The projects you will be overseeing are extremely exciting and are part of a large scale digital transformation. Responsibilities: Overseeing a number delivery teams (squads) Project Planning Reporting on outcomes and making sure everyone is delivering to the agreed roadmap across the business Manging budgets Acting as an escalation point for any internal queries/problems The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience of project planning and delivery within the technology sector Managed multiple projects/teams delivering in a fast paced environment Experience of an Agile/Scrum and delivering projects within this methodology Previous experience of manging budgets Experience of using project management tools (Jira) Having the capability to see the wider picture and implement improvements Strong stakeholder management experience Ability to communicate with individuals professionally at all levels ROLE: Agile Delivery Manger LOCATION: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire SALARY: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum Please contact Ryan James at Synchro to explore this fantastic exclusive opportunity further or apply through this job posting and we will be in touch shortly.
