Overview
Your new company A rare opportunity to join a growing International Bank as a Chief Risk Officer with the aim to implement effective investment in emerging markets through expert Risk Management, based in Mayfair, paying up to £175,000. Your new role You will work as the Chief Risk Officer, managing and overseeing the controls and systems of the varied subdivisions of Risk Management, including: Credit, Market and Operational, whilst ensuring they all comply with the Bank's regulations. You will also have a duty to drive corporate social responsibility; ensuring the Bank's Risk Management has a direct and clear strategy. A key responsibility will be to work closely with the Credit Risk team, ensuring all risks are closely monitored through IT risk systems. Similarly, ensure all policies and procedures are enforced and presented to the International Board and regularly organise meetings with the Credit Committee. You will also be required to partner with the HR department, taking control of any recruitment related activities. As well, you will need to act as the prime assessor of your team and ensure they are given all the needed training for their own professional development. What you'll need to succeed -15 years' experience in the Financial Sector -10 years in a Managerial Risk-related role -SMF 4 Experience -Has worked for an International Bank -Degree educated with a financial/economic background -Previous experience conducting audit practices -A proactive mindset with the aim to improve and implement effect policy Ideally you will have: -Excellent managerial capabilities with power to influence and inspire -Experience organising and preparing for high level meetings -Proven communicative abilities with excellent stakeholder engagement -Exceptional attention to detail with careful judgement -Experience using IT risk systems What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
