As a Business Analyst within the Group, you will be responsible for business requirements analysis, creation of requirements documentation and helping to define system processes and workflows through an innovative approach. Key Responsibilities Creating a detailed business analysis of projects and other changes. Defining business requirements. Creating business requirements documentation. Providing updates and reports to Stakeholders, Project Teams and Product Management Team. Identify new changes or processes which will provide efficiencies to the team or business. Liaise with relevant third parties on matters affecting the successful operation of products and associated internal and external systems. Regular Tasks Developing and maintaining business requirements documentation (including process flows). Providing updates and reports to all stakeholders, Project Teams and Product Management Team. Design, implement and update the end-to-end project plans for the delivery of technical solutions. Planning required testing and arranging execution with the Testing Team Leader. Liaising with other business areas where their involvement is required and gaining their support and considering their requirements. Assisting with the daily planning of tasks to be completed and assigning them to the appropriate people / teams. Running workshops and training sessions to ensure all team members are aware of the changes derived from the projects. Build strong, productive relationships with managers and staff within the business and with external third parties in order to deliver effective solutions based on an understanding of the business driver for each party. Act as the central control point for business analysis activities including working with third-party suppliers and technical teams, as appropriate. Budgeting, forecasting and tracking financials for projects. Formulate ways for businesses to improve, based on previous research. Essential Skills Analytical skills. Experience in supporting insurance policy and claims processing systems. Detailed knowledge of the business and operational processes in policy and / or claims. Innovation and embracing change. An interest in, and understanding of, project management techniques and computing systems. Qualifications / Experience Previous experience or a proven attitude for analysis of data and problem solving. Degree in business, computing, economics, or numeracy-related subject (Desired) Industry recognised qualification associated with Business Analyst or IT (Desired) Working experience of project and analysis techniques and supporting tools for requirement definition and documentation.
