Overview
Radley Green are recruiting an amazing opportunity for a CFO to join a private-equity backed start-up going through a huge period of growth . The business has won numerous awards for innovation and have been highlighted as "one to watch" in the near future. The CEO now needs an experienced CFO to join the small team to help not only put controls and processes in place but add real commercial value and drive the business forward. This role will work closely with the CEO and other senior management and will play a huge part in their journey over the coming years. This role is based in Surrey and will pay between £120k and £160k plus bonus and equity and a clear route to CEO, as the current founder wishes to focus on products and innovation. A candidate from a Manufacturing background with a strong understanding of Supply Chain working with international manufacturers is needed. Candidates must also have worked in a start-up / high-growth environment where building a Finance function from scratch was necessary. The role will include: Developing and running the finance function to ensure effective controls Full ownership of all financial reporting including monthly management accounts, KPI's, board packs etc Identifying key KPI's and creating KPI dashboard for use by the board and investors Take the lead in full cash-flow forecasting, cash-management and implementing key cash-management processes during this time of growth. Reviewing and reporting on inventory, sales, growth and lead time of products Developing a best-in-class finance function to guide this business moving forward Candidates must be: ACA Qualified or equivalent Experience of working in high-growth start-up / SME is needed Experience of working in a manufacturing business and working with international manufacturers Extensive cash management experience Fund raising experience - can run a full process to free up management time Strong modelling experience - the ability to build integrated three statement models Demonstrable strategic vision and judgement Experience working in start-up or high growth business This role is being recruited immediately so please send your CV through should you match the above requirements.
