Quality Assurance Assistant Tamworth £31,600 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a professional, experienced and outstanding Quality Assurance Assistant to join our client, a globally recognised food retailer, to join their head office based in Atherstone. You will be the ‘go to’ person for the wider business on all Quality Assurance matters. Able to communicate and share your knowledge with confidence to colleagues and stakeholders alike. Resourceful, strategic and proactive, a key support for your Manager or Director. Responsibilities of the successful Quality Assurance Assistant: Work towards achieving the QA Strategy Goals Manage the efficient and accurate flow of quality related correspondence and information, both incoming and outgoing with internal and external parties Provide timely support to the Buying teams for all Quality related queries Assist in the development and maintaining of QA systems, procedures and documentation Actively manage area of responsibility Manage solutions to drive the efficiency of the QA processes and implementation across the business Support the QA Manager by being proactive and responsive Undertake training to keep on top of legislation as required in your area The successful Quality Assurance Assistant must possess: Minimum of 5 GCSEs A-C (including maths and English) / Degree (desirable) 12 months experience working within a FMCG retail environment Previous experience working as part of a QA team in a Retail head office environment or in the QA team at a food manufacturing site / supplier Experience working with both internal and external stakeholders e.g. - different internal functions, external partners /suppliers Computer literate, excellent attention to detail, organisational & communication skills and able to prioritise and work to strict deadlines Benefits in return: £31,600 rising in increments to £36,900 in year 5 5 weeks’ annual leave plus Bank Holidays Full training provided Company pension after 4 years Company sick pay scheme Company maternity, paternity and adoption leave after 2 years Long service awards At Inplace Recruitment we believe it is people that make the business succeed, the right people, expertly placed in the correct positions.
