Deputy Manager - Colville Nursery & Pre-School Despite the challenges of the coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis we are still recruiting for staff in our nurseries. JOB DETAILS Hours: 40 hours Salary: £26,963 - £27,976 Qualification : Level 3 in Early Years or equivalent Location: 4/5 Colville Square, London, W11 2BQ JOB DESCRIPTION Our "outstanding" Colville Nursery is located in Notting Hill close to Portobello Road. The children who attend the setting are aged between 0 -5 and they tend to thrive in this exceptionally warm, friendly and nurturing environment. The team at Colville work hard to build relationships with parents and to extend children's learning in order for them to become confident and independent individuals. We are looking for a Deputy Manager to join the team and provide support and leadership to the staff in the nursery. Our deputy managers are very much room based and should demonstrate the behaviours that LEYF value. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Full and relevant childcare qualification at level 3 or above. Strong knowledge of child protection and safeguarding and the ability to take the lead in vulnerable situations when required. Senior team leadership experience working in an early year's setting. To be a confident leader, articulating your ideas and using planning and preparation to ensure their success. To distribute staff and resources effectively, maintaining ratios whilst supporting other rooms. To champion LEYF's values and advocate our mission to save the world one child at a time. To continually strive for best practice in yourself and inspiring others. Have a passion for making a difference in their communities. A child centred approach to teaching using creative and exciting methods to engage and stimulate.
