Join Assurant, one of the leading providers in Lifestyle & Automotive protection in Europe, as a Desktop Support Analyst. We’re looking for an experienced Desktop Support Analyst to join our European Solutions & Technology team. You’ll be working within our Solutions & Technology Department and will be responsible for providing timely and efficient IT Services & Support for all staff across Assurant Europe including; · Supporting internal customers desktop environment (hardware, operating systems and applications) · Supporting all aspects of Assurant on site IT Infrastructure. · Ensuring that all escalated incidents and requests are dealt within agreed SLAs. · Ensuring the security or Assurant’s IT Infrastructure and Disaster Recovery provisions are regularly tested and meet business requirements. · Delivery of Business lead and IT change request, work requests and projects as assigned. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to; · Providing IT services and support to 1700 users across 12 sites, outsourced business partner locations and 3rd party facilities. · Ensuring that all own and direct teams’ incidents and requests are dealt within agreed SLAs. . Ensure accurate and detailed recording in IT Service Desk tools. . Maintaining and producing documentation for support procedures. . Take ownership of incidents & requests, to identify root causes, implement fixes and keep customers updated. · Cross train other team members where required. · Maintain and support all site-specific IT infrastructure. · Support wider Platform Operations environment when required - Infrastructure (Servers & Network), Desktop, Telephone and Database support. · Ensure that all IT Infrastructure changes adhere to Assurant standards and policies. · Manages day-to-day interactions with key vendors, service providers and 3rd party support organizations. The ideal person to join us will have the skills, knowledge & experience in the following areas; · Experience of working in a similar role for a multi-site organization of at least 1000 end users. · Experience of working in a medium to large IT team for a non-IT company, preferably in the financial or insurance industry. · Certification in recognized technical training highly desired. · A qualification or demonstrable knowledge in their area of technical specialty. · ITIL knowledge required.
