Overview

In line with growth plans for 2020, a very successful Financial Services organisation are looking to recruit an additional senior employee benefits professional to support their existing portfolio and assist in the development of new clients. As a Consultant you will be responsible for providing consultancy services to new and existing corporate clients to promote Employee Benefits services. The successful candidate with have the technical ability to advise clients on the full spectrum of options available. They should be able to create opportunities through the existing book of business. Full client support, research and a comprehensive paraplanning service can be provided to ensure more emphasis on advice and less on administrative duties. Key Responsibilities Conduct and follow the financial Advice process following all service standards and rules for a compliant outcome and an outstanding client experience. Responsible for hosting financial education workshops and presenting staff benefits using power point to groups of employees varying in number Conduct one-to-one advice appointments with employees regarding their workplace pension and employee benefits Deal with queries via email and telephone from new and existing clients Complete the advice process during/post meetings Be able to identify opportunities and client needs and refer business leads of mortgage and wealth management to the team around you. Experience, Knowledge & Essential Attributes You must be currently working as an Employee Benefit Consultant/IFA/Financial Advisor You will be experienced in advising clients on all aspects of financial planning, including investments, pensions, and protection Full diploma qualification preferred Have at least 4 years relevant face-to-face experience Detailed technical knowledge with which to provide a high-quality financial planning service Excellent knowledge of products and prioritisation of needs and best advice Ability to think through the consequences of actions taken both internally and operationally Ability to demonstrate positive attitude and behaviour and a flexibility to take on feedback to develop new skills and ways of thinking Creative thinking ability Thorough understanding of the Compliance, Legal, Statutory and Regulatory aspects impacting upon this area Excellent communication skills and high standards of literacy essential An excellent basic salary is on offer plus benefits.
