Overview

Manpower are currently looking for a Quality Control (QC) Supervisor. In this role you will assist in the smooth running of the Quality Control department to ensure that all products manufactured, inspected, tested and terminated by the Company are monitored and assessed. You will supervise the Quality Control Inspectors on a day to day basis, ensuring there is sufficient QC cover to meet scheduling requirements. As Quality Control Supervisor your main duties will be to: Monitor all processes related to the production, manufacture and load out of product. Evaluation of these processes, identifying weaknesses and implementing improvement activities. Review and revise quality procedures in line with improvements identified and made to the processes/system. Evaluate non-conformances relating to the product, process and Quality System and recommending solutions, corrective action and future preventive actions. Facilitate internal audits in line with the Audit Schedule. Facilitate Client and Certification Bodies Audits as define by the contract. Investigate and resolve project related customer quality complaints to maintain customer satisfaction. Develop project quality documentation (inspection and test plan) in accordance with client project requirement, JDR policies and procedures, all applicable regulatory and industrial standards. Prepare information for Quality Review meetings and chair cross functional weekly NCR meetings in order to close out IMS issues in a timely manner and prevent further reoccurrence of the issue. Attend daily hub meetings and present the quality issues raised within the last 24 hours to inform all parties. Identify projects contract quality requirements to ensure company capability of meeting them. As Quality Control Supervisor, you must have extensive relevant QC experience. You should have a background in reviewing processes in a manufacturing environment together with experience in the use of quality tools such as 8D Problem Solving, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, SPC. Ideally a qualified Internal Auditor, you will be a confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with people across all levels to ensure a thorough understanding of quality issues.
