Overview

Salary £28K - £33K Permanent , full-time I am recruiting a Specialist Societies Administrator for a medical membership body in central London. This membership body provides administrative support to their specialist medical societies. They are now looking for another administrator that will be responsible for providing comprehensive support to the societies, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of their operations, within agreed budgets while achieving a high level of client satisfaction. Your main duties will include: Pro-actively responding to all enquiries as required and dealing with requests for information (vial email and telephone), collating /editing of the society newsletters and updating the society websites when required. Personal assistance support to senior officers for each society and acting as an ambassador at relevant national and international meetings. This may involve overnight stays. Membership Administration duties including processing all membership applications sending out membership packs, helping in the co-ordination of large mail-outs and responding to all membership enquiries. Maintaining the membership database; providing regular membership updates/reports; track receipt of membership payments; sending out subscription reminders and invoices receive payments and handle all on-line credit card transactions. Membership database management: updating and maintaining contact management database/s for all societies, updating member information, registering new members, recording member contact and maintaining subscription information. Committee meeting organisation/administration, i.e. maintaining the committee meeting diary, booking meeting rooms and organising catering, while supporting the societies' committee meetings by preparing agendas and minute taking if required. The successful incumbent will be an experienced Senior Administrator from the membership sector who can quickly hit the ground running. First rate administrative skills, experience in a busy customer-focused environment and strong minute taking skills are essential. If this sounds like you, do not hesitate to apply
