Overview

Providing Paraplanning support to the Independent Financial Advisers (currently 3 director IFAs). There are two main activity types:- Pre-sale/advice research Client Servicing From Fact find and know your customer documents and liaising with adviser do research of current portfolio or products Obtain Key Features Documents, illustrations & comparisons, etc Prepare suitability reports for recommendation in consultation with adviser Set up Intelligent Office plans, including fees expected Track and follow up new plan applications and transfers Prepare client annual reports or suitability reports when necessary & fact finds (see advice processes above) Generic Skills Undertaking other duties commensurate with the position Creating reports from Client Management Systems (Intelliflo) when needed Problem solving system errors and monitoring their resolution Provide cover for Administrator when needed Person Specification Essential In-depth and broad experience of working in a paraplanning role Ability to work on own initiative and autonomously Demonstrate effective organisational skills of own workload, to multi-skill and meet conflicting workload requirements An extensive understand financial terms and acronyms, e.g. KIIDs, LTV, ISA, SIPPs, GPPs, LTA, DTA, CIC Proven commercial awareness, striving and driven towards excellence Desirable Use of research tools, such as FE Analytics, O&M Pension Profiler, Assureweb Use of Intelliflo or other client management systems Use of many Provider online systems preference for knowledge of Ascentric, Old Mutual SIS, Prudential Retirement Account, Elevate IFS/PFS Level 4 or equivalent
