Overview
A growing Retail company is looking for a Finance Analyst to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis. Their office is based in the City of London and they need someone to start as soon as posisble. My client is a large retail company going through a period of growth, looking for an Analyst to join their Finance team. The contract is initially 6 months, with the view to be extended, and is based in Central London. In this role, you'd be responsible for the delivery of timely and accurate financial analysis, providing insights which drive change in cost behaviour and identifying opportunities to unlock operational efficiencies. Responsibilities of the Finance Analyst - Critical review of ways of workings and processes to identify opportunities for improvements in process efficiencies and controls as the business grows, whilst ensuring resources are effectively allocated. - Financial modelling and insights to inform and support review of business functions. Provide and deliver analysis and insight that links financial reports to business strategies - Prepare and review management reports to ensure accuracy and presentation in line with business requirements (actuals, forecast, budget) - Support business with strong budget control - Support the formulation and delivery of 5YP / other long-range plans - Foster a strong partnership mind-set between Finance and budget holders to provide analysis, challenge and insight on commercial finance matters and strategies Requirements of the Finance Analyst - Currently studying towards CIMA or ACCA Qualification - Strong excel skills - Previous experience in Analysis, Budgets and Forecasting - Experience in the Retail/FMCG industry preferred If you can start immediately, or are on a one week notice period then please apply directly, or email me at
