Overview
Sales Engineer - Rail Engineering / Manufacturing An exciting opportunity to join an international manufacturer of industrial, rail, automotive and mechanical machinery, components and service packages. Our client is seeking a Sales Engineer to develop sales of rail service packages and rail parts and components in Ireland. This role would suit a candidate with an understanding and experience of the rail and transportation industry coupled with an engineering education. You should have knowledge of UK rail customers including end users, OEMs, ROSCOs and TOCs. Ideal Location - Commutable from - Ealing, Brentford, Wembley, Harrow, Uxbridge, Slough, Windsor, Beaconsfield, High Wycombe, Maidenhead, Watford, Hemel Hempstead, St Albans, Wimbledon, Fulham, West London £50-55k Basic Annual Bonus Car Allowance Pension Life Assurance Private Healthcare Benefits The Role Maintain and develop relationships with end users, OEMs, ROSCOs and TOCs. Attract and expand new and existing business. Provide technical support. Review and prepare quotations, tenders and commercial enquiries The Candidate A good knowledge of the UK rail industry is a must for this role. Educated to degree level, or equivalent such as HNC, in Mechanical Engineering. An understanding of mechanical components - electrical components is advantageous. Proven experience of key account management or business development.
