Overview
My client a local authority based in East London are looking to recruit an interim Commercial Contracts Lawyer for three months initially. The successful Commercial Contracts Lawyer will be required to assist the Contracts Team with a range of challenging and exciting projects. The work is varied and challenging and you will be required to prepare the terms and conditions for tenders and bespoke agreements to meet client needs. You will also be responsible for advising on contractor terms and risk as well as a wide range of matters such as freedom of information, state aid law and intellectual property matters. There is also a significant amount of work relating to construction and regeneration contracts. Due to the nature of the work it is essential that you have previous experience dealing with construction and regeneration contracts. Previous Local Government experience would be advantageous.
