Job Type: Full-time

Overview

RF Antenna Design Engineer - Cambridge We are currently looking for an experienced RF Antenna Design Engineer to join a team of RF Engineers who work on the invention and improvement of complex communications and detection technologies. Due to growth in business, this organisation, based in Cambridge, are in need of adding someone to the team who can specifically focus on RF Antenna Design. You will also work on projects within other areas of RF design, so a wide range of experience is expected, however if needed you will need to work on RF Antenna Design projects on your own without assistance. We are open to the amount of experience you have, you could have just a couple of years experience all the way to a very senior member of staff with 20 years plus. The key skills is knowing how to successfully work on RF Antenna Design projects. Apart from RF Antenna Design, you will also work on design projects for the sub-systems and solutions for RF problems not specifically related to the Antenna, such as RF System Design, RF Circuit Design, Microwave Design or even standard Electronics Engineering problems. Another reason why a wider level of knowledge will be advantageous. As expected, apart from years of experience in this type of role you will also hold a degree or PhD in a relevant electronics, engineering or science subject. Your education may have been a little off the RF field, but you may have moved into it via your first role in industry or maybe a military position. As mentioned, the number of years of industry experience is open so if you are at the more senior level you would ideally have the skills to lead a group in either a project management or lead engineer type of role. Most of the people already in this team have a real passion for electronics and engineering projects. This comes across due to their own technical hobbies and interests in their spare time. We have found in the past, people with technical hobbies and interests tend to integrate into the team in a timely manner. If you do have any technical hobbies or interest please make sure you talk about them in your CV. When successful in your application, you will be rewarded with an excellent starting salary, bonus, pension, health/life cover, relocation assistance (if needed) and a number of benefits you would normally only expect at the largest companies in the world. Apart from the excellent salary and benefits package, this organisation pride themselves on the continually training and development they provide so they can promote from within, whenever possible. Your training will also make sure that you are always ahead of the technology curve, keeping your role interesting every single day. I expect a lot of interest in this role and as soon as the right person comes along they will hire, so there is not specific closing date. They are also open to people with long notice periods, as it is more important to find the right person for the team rather than just add for the sake of headcount. So, if you have the required skills and ambition, do not hold off on making an application or risk missing out.
