Overview
Scientist - Surface Chemistry Based in Cambridge, an exciting new start up developing DNA Synthesis Technology is looking for a scientist specialising in surface chemistry to help further develop their cutting edge technology. The scientist will have a background in organic electronics or biosensors, and experience with surface characterisation techniques and processes. Working with the surface chemistry team, they will play a key role in designing DNA synthesis technology. The successful scientist will have a PhD in Chemistry or similar life science and ideally experience of: •Synthesis and development of functional surfaces •Synthetic chemistry and purification techniques •XPS, AFM, fluorescence microscopy, electrochemistry •Transferring processes from R&D into manufacturing. •Microfluidics • Product Development This is a challenging role developing ground-breaking biotechnology.
