Experiment Performing Physicist - Cambridge A truly exciting role has become available for an established spin-out company. Your role as a Physicist will involve creating and performing experiments to help with the development of new technologies and the improvement of current generation technologies. Due to the hands-on nature of this work you will ideally have been working in industry or on a successful product development during your PhD and post-doc work. We are open to you having worked on a wide range of different technologies, however the easiest transferable technologies would include microfluidics, semiconductors, printed electronics, microfabrication, electrostatic or other fluidic based technologies. It is just as important to find someone who would fit into the culture of the organisation, ideally you will have a pro-active approach and enjoy working on challenging problems. Ideally, you will hold a PhD however is you do not hold a degree but have a number of years of successful experience as a Physicist we are still interested to hear from you. As this is a vital role for the company, we are open to people who have just finished their PhD or people with a number of years of industry experience. This will be a challenging role for you that will also offer you the chance to continually improve on your knowledge and skills. Apart from the physical work as a Physicist, it would also be ideal if you have strong MATLAB exposure.
