Overview

Edward Mann are recruiting for a dynamic and successful private equity business lead by a group of high net-worth individuals, based in Central London. This role provides a rare opportunity to work in an informal and rewarding, but demanding, environment and to develop and excel in a broad range of responsibilities and disciplines. This position will be the expert in all financial and technical matters for the business. This is a broad, varied and hands-on role with responsibility for the company’s day-to-day financial activities. This role will drive and improve all financial activities including all financial and management accounting, financial planning, budgeting and cash flow management. This position will also be responsible for managing and developing one Accounts Assistant. This position will include: Corporate Bookkeeping on excel and Sage Management accounts/reporting VAT and HMRC enquires Payroll review Cashflow Budgets Corporate tax and tax filings Weekly payment run (dual authorisation process) Company secretarial and process all Companies House filings Annual renewal of LEI’s for investment companies FATCA KYC General Management and development of 1 staff member studying ACCA Personal Personal tax Tax planning/advice Deal SEIS/EIS applications (with help from external consultants) KYC process Liaising with directors regarding capital calls and exit distributions The ideal candidate will be/have: Qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA, or equivalent) Accounting/Bookkeeping experience Exposure to corporate tax is beneficial, but not essential For more information, please apply ASAP.
