Overview

Tradewind Social Care are currently recruiting a Financial Assessment and Income Officer to join the Adult Social Care Team in North West London. Duties: Undertake financial assessments of service users' (receiving adult social care services) ability to pay towards the cost of residential and non-residential services (if applicable) in accordance with the Care Act and Charging policy of the Council To give service users and their representatives and social work staff sound advice regarding the charging policy, their obligations to the Council and their entitlement to benefits from the Department of Work and Pensions To raise invoices in accordance with the billing cycle of the section and collect income due to the Council from client contribution To recover arrears of client contributions in accordance with the debt recovery procedure of the Department To assist in the development and review of the section's procedures, systems and working practices To consult, seek advice and clear contentious issues .5 affecting the team's, work with the Senior Customer Financial Officer.
