If you’ve never heard of this sector before, you might be interested to know that workplace financial education is growing exponentially, with over 60% of larger employers expected to implement a financial health & wellbeing strategy in the next three years, so the opportunity here is huge (as well as being a really nice product to promote). On top of all the great work they’ve been doing with employer’s, they are now looking to take the education platform out to a wider audience, working directly with corporates and institutions who would like to offer all this good stuff to their own customers. The possibilities here are endless (I’m thinking Banks, Building Societies, Charities, Gaming companies etc. etc.) - and this is where you come in. The Sales Development Associate will be the person who comes up with ideas for new sector clients and explores these in detail. Through thematic and sector research , you’ll drill down on potential B2B prospects , pulling together all the intel necessary to build a comprehensive case that can be used by the Sales Directors to make a tailored and informed first approach to the companies you’ve selected for them. BUT, it doesn’t stop there. As the holder of all this great insight , you’ll play a key role in supporting the Directors at first meetings, drafting and attending pitches and drafting proposals and RFPs. So, lots of variety and opportunity to really make a difference. For such a great role, we’re looking for an equally great person who will be: A recent gradate or second jobber (ideally your degree will be in Economics, Business or Finance, or a subject with a high level of research and analysis) Have a skill set that combines creative thinking, analytical skills and outstanding communication A genuine interest in financial education A good commercial outlook A self-starter who can work alone, or as part of a team A willing, friendly, kind and collaborative colleague A perfectionist who will leave no stone unturned in building great commercial outcomes If this is you, and you’d like to know more, I’d love to hear from you
