Overview: You will support the feasibility, development, and commercialization of new or changing safety and personal protective equipment by working with Marketing, Regulatory, Quality, Product Supply and customer groups. This position requires fluency in all aspects of the product development process from inception of an idea through introduction into manufacturing and any on-going sustaining engineering related activities post launch. You will be leading project teams and communicating to key stakeholders throughout the continuum of the product development cycle. Your main focus will be innovation - we have a huge amount of new projects that we're looking to launch this year that you will be leading. You will be working closely with the notified bodies to ensure the right testing is in place to ensure those launches go smoothly. There will be approximately 25-35% travel required in this role - this will be across our global manufacturing sites for trials so you can expect to be travelling at least once a quarter. Responsibilities: Independently research problems and develop creative solutions to a wide range of complex problems while effectively identifying and dimensioning technical risks and generating mitigation plans. Effectively make assumptions to develop implementation plans and accurate project schedules for large cross-functional projects/initiatives that may be nebulously defined. Effectively impart information to teams and senior leaders to drive decisions. Work effectively with enterprise partners, external partners and vendors, and understand when to use these resources. Provide actionable, timely feedback to cross-functional core and extended team members, while maintaining productive working relationships. Experience Required: Education: BS or BA degree in applied sciences or engineering - essential Extensive experience in new product development with proven experience defining and launching new products within a PDP in a regulated industry - essential Ability to travel - essential Working knowledge of PPE - desirable Strong project management skills - ability to stay on time and budget - essential Experience working cross-functionally to develop product or platform strategies Ability to communicate well through written and verbal means Ability to interface effectively with skilled professionals, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and first responders Solid ability to work with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Working knowledge of statistical methods Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills Energetic and proactive approach Package: We offer a highly competitive salary which is negotiable depending on experience.
