Overview
Job Title: Transport Modeller Office: Birmingham, West Midlands Salary Range: £30,000 - £40,000 benefits A leading, multinational consultancy, has an opportunity available for a technically skilled, Transport Modeller to join their office in Birmingham. Following significant investment into the region, including HS2 and the Commonwealth Games, there are significant opportunities to get involved in a broad range of major developments. Job Specification: Advice on transport strategy and business cases; Take down project briefs and create assessments; Alongside the PM, undertake costing and financial monitoring; Attend internal & external meetings to support clients & project leaders; Assist in mentoring junior staff. Candidate Specification: Degree level education; Experience of working on traffic & transportation studies; Experience with Paramics/Vissim; Proficiency in Transyt & LinSig; Strong communication & presentation skills; Good technical skills & attention to detail. If successful you will have the opportunity to work on developments with a range of key private sector clients & public bodies, including some of the UK's most high-profile transport planning & infrastructure projects. This will involve collaboration with a number of highly skilled modellers and engineers across the countrywide division and in conjunction with external third parties.
