Overview
I am currently looking to recruit a Quality Control Technician to work on a temporary basis for a large clinet of mine based in the Peterborough. The contract will run for an initial 3-6 month period with a view to being extended or the role may even become permanent for the right person. This position would suit soeone with previous Quality Control experince or a Graduate within, Food, Science or simlar degree's. Day to day responsibilities Conduct daily verification of batch card, goods inwards documents, samples etc. according to the instruction in conjunction with Quality Improvement Specialist. Sampling Goods and Raw Materials. Preparation and shipping samples for analysis. Administration of External Testing Log Book in conjunction with other members of Quality Department. Preparation of samples for customers. Conducting analysis and providing assay preparation support for Lab Coordinator. Supporting NCR investigations with providing data that would involve checking quality documents, samples and reporting conclusions to the lead of NCR investigation. Conducting GMP inspections following pre-defined check list. Providing support in preparations to audits as well as corrective action plan execution as supervised by senior members of the companies Auditing Team. Working hours are 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday and the salary for the position is circa £18,000 per annum or the contract equivalent per hour.
