Commercial Legal Counsel
Overview
Our client, a leading financial services institution are seeking a commercial lawyer to join their legal team, in what will be a broad commercial role. In this role you will work closely with the Head of Third Party Legal, advising on legal risk, supplier contracts, commercial and regulatory issues. You will also work closely with key stakeholders in the business to build and maintain relationships. Contracts will include include outsourcing agreements, goods and services agreements and IT services agreements (including Cloud and SaaS arrangements). Experience in these areas will be an advantage but is not a prerequisite. Requirements: 2 years PQE with commercial contracts experience, gained in house or in a law firm. Understanding of the financial services industry or broad commercial experience. Relevant experience to cover a wise base of legal and commercial issues across a variety of FS businesses.
