Job description: Social Personnel are looking for Youth Workers for Croydon Council. Duties: To lead on the recruitment of young people to events and groups within the participation and engagement service this includes working with partners. To organise sessions and/ or meetings as necessary and/or decided by young people. Ensuring young people are facilitated to lead and represent their peers effectively. Additional Infomation: For the 2 Part time postions it’s 18 hours a week across Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday 1.30pm-7.30pm when there are sessions and 11am-5pm on the days there aren’t. For the 2 full time postions, it’s 36 hours a week, 7,2 hours a day, Monday - Friday. Core hours being noon-8pm, with occasional earlier starting/finishing times in cases of training days.
