Overview

Technical Adviser, Youth Services   Fixed Term (until 31 December 2020)   £35,844 per annum   IPPF is a global service provider and a leading advocate of sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) for all. We are a worldwide movement of national organisations working with and for communities and individuals.   You will contribute to IPPF’s technical leadership as a service provider and advocate for young people’s SRHR, by providing support to a number of programmes focussed on meaningful youth participation and engagement. One of your key deliverables will be to lead the work on convening regional and global youth forums as part of the newly implemented federation-wide reform process.   You will have experience promoting the empowerment of young people through meaningful youth engagement, preferably with previous experience in the SRHR field or in developing countries. You will have excellent time-management skills and ability to multi-task in order to meet tight deadlines. In addition, you will have excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to communicate to a variety of audiences. English fluency is essential.   This position can be based in either the UK or Belgium. However, before offering the job to you, we will require proof that you have permission to work in either country.
