Overview

This leading independent UK based, chemical distribution Company in Leeds, needs a capable, motivated IT Systems Administrator to manage all aspects of the configuration and maintenance of our computer systems. Job title: IT System Administrator Location: Leeds city centre Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (flexible hours available) Salary: Competitive Overview of Benefits: 23 days holiday on starting plus buy/sell holiday scheme, generous pension scheme, private medical care, family friendly policies, flexible working available, plus much more The role As a Systems Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the business's IT systems, ensuring business critical applications are well maintained and providing a helpdesk service to IT users throughout our group of companies and head office teams. Key responsibilities will include: Responding to help desk enquiries in a timely manner Providing excellent customer service Setting up new starters and processing leavers Configuring PC's, laptops and mobiles Providing 1st line telephone and remote desktop support for PC's, printers, email and systems Troubleshooting network issues and liaising with service providers Working with the rest of the IT team to fix issues, gathering and providing the team with evidence from users You'll be great in this role if you Have an A level or other equivalent qualification in ICT/ Computer Science Or have recently graduated with an IT or Computing related degree Are competent in MS Office/ Databases Have strong organisational and problem-solving skills and a positive, helpful attitude Enjoy working within a fast-paced environment and can keep a cool head when the pressure is really on Have a genuine interest in technology and desire to learn and expand your skills and knowledge To apply for this role, please apply with an up to date CV detailing how your experience matches the requirement of the role.
