Finance & Accounts Manager Global Travel Company - Wembley Salary negotiable DOE Are you an experienced finance professional looking to join the exciting Travel Industry? Jewels Travel Recruitment are working with an International Travel Company who due to expansion are looking for someone who has full knowledge of HMRC reporting, VAT, Payroll and Accounting software systems to work full time in their offices near Wembley. The successful candidate for this new and exciting role will have previous successful experience of preparing and maintaining all financial accounting and records, ideally in a Travel, Tourism & Hospitality environment, however will consider other relevant industries. Knowledge of cost accounting, payroll, VAT returns is essential in order to succeed in this fast paced, 'hands-on' role. Key Responsibilities To review existing financial procedures and processes, recommend and implement a more efficient and effective solution. To be responsible for preparing and maintaining all the financial accounting and records adhering to relevant accounting standards. Develop systems and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the company's finances. Provide financial reports to the Directors regularly to enable them to monitor and improve the businesses performance. Prepare information for and submission of all the returns required by law to Companies House, HMRC and other such authorities. Using a financial control framework, including financial accountabilities and authorities to ensure full financial control. Manage the work and development of full-time finance professionals. Responsible for maintaining accurate accounting records. Assist in the preparation of Year End Pack and work with auditors in preparing annual audited financial statements. Review bank reconciliations, invoice financing, inter-company cross charges etc. Special projects as required such as assisting in future ERP implementation. Skills & Experience 3 years' accounting/ finance experience Full knowledge of HMRC reporting, VAT, Payroll and Accounting software system. Strong organisational and management skills. Cross border VAT and other tax regulations experience is essential. Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to meet deadlines. Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ability to support operational and commercial functions of the business.
